Invisible Braces In Naperville

If you’ve ever wanted to straighten your teeth without the hassle of traditional braces, ClearCorrect™ aligner therapy is the way to go. These are often referred to as “Invisible Braces” because they use a series of clear aligners (retainers) to straighten your teeth. The process to get started is super easy. You can begin treatment as soon as your consultation appointment. At Living Well Dental Group, we have state-of-the-art digital scanning technology.

Clear Aligner Procedure

We will use this technology to scan your teeth to begin the ClearCorrect process (no messy impressions needed). Your aligners will arrive approximately 2 weeks after your scan. Each aligner will need to be worn for 2 weeks. The average treatment time is 10-16 months. You’ll have the option to come into the office for monthly check-ups or have your treatment overseen by Dr. Keven Wells 100% remote with the ClearCorrectNOW program. Both options will result in a beautiful straight smile.

Products Used in Clear Aligner Therapy

ClearCorrect

ClearCorrect uses a series of plastic aligners (retainers) to gradually move your teeth into the correct position. These aligners need to be worn 22 hours, a day 7 days a week.

Down Time and Expected Recovery Process

The aligners need to be changed every two weeks. You may experience some tenderness when changing to a new set of aligners (retainers). This can be easily managed with ibuprofen. We also recommend changing your aligners right before bedtime. This will avoid having your teeth feel tender during the waking hours.

Follow Up

You will need to schedule follow-up visits every 4 weeks unless you have chosen to do ClearCorrectNOW which is 100% remote.

Dental Sealant Follow Up

The dental sealants will be checked by Dr. Keven Wells Naperville dentist at each of your regular recall visits. If any of the sealant material has chipped out, it can be resealed.

Clear Aligner Procedure Pros and Cons

Pros:

Removable: The ClearCorrect aligners (retainers) can be removed at any time. This allows you to clean your teeth better.

Discrete: The ClearCorrect aligners are not noticeable. Most family and friends won’t even know you’re wearing them.

Comfortable: When compared to traditional braces, ClearCorrect aligners are easy and more comfortable to wear.

Convenient: ClearCorectNOW can be done 100% remote.

Cons:

Responsible: You have to be responsible to wear the trays 22 hours a day, 7 days a week, or it won’t work.

How Much Do Invisible Braces Cost?

The cost for ClearCorrect and ClearCorrectNOW depends on how long you will need treatment. The length of treatment will be determined once ClearCorrect receives your digital scan and Dr. Keven Wells approves the treatment. As a courtesy, our office can contact your insurance company to inquire if this procedure is covered within your policy. For those of you without insurance, payment options can be discussed during the consultation with Dr. Keven Wells.

frequently asked questions

ClearCorrect vs Invisalign

ClearCorrect and Invisalign use the same custom-fit, clear aligner therapy to move teeth into the correct position. They seem so similar, yet there are some differences worth pointing out that make ClearCorrect the trusted choice at Living Well Dental Group.

ClearCorrect’s patented material is made from polyurethane resin, and is meant to be easier to take on and off, and more comfortable to wear. The material was also designed to work faster than Invisalign’s thermoplastic material. Both companies’ aligners are made without BPA and have been FDA-approved.

Another notable difference between ClearCorrect and Invisalign is the build of the aligners. ClearCorrect aligners are made from thinner material than Invisalign aligners. This lighter, thinner material makes them less visible than the Invisalign aligners.
